Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Purrito ("the Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

Purrito is a macOS menu bar application that monitors battery status and displays an animated cat reacting to the current battery level. It includes purring sound effects and interactive trackpad petting gestures. It is personal productivity and entertainment software.

Purrito grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Software on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Software.

Your license is activated via a unique license key delivered after purchase. License keys are for personal use only and may not be shared or resold.

Purrito is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscriptions or recurring charges. You receive access to the current version and all future updates for as long as the Software is maintained.

If the Software does not function on a supported device and operating system, you may request a refund at refund@purrito.app. Refunds are not available for unsupported configurations or change of mind. Supporting evidence may be requested.

Purrito requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later. Issues arising from use on unsupported hardware or operating system versions are outside the developer's responsibility.

Purrito does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All processing happens locally on your device. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind is embedded in the Software. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Your email address provided at purchase may be used to send occasional updates and news about Purrito. Every email includes an unsubscribe option. Your address will never be shared with third parties.

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The developer bears no liability for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Software. Total liability never exceeds the purchase price paid.

You agree to indemnify and defend the developer against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and legal expenses arising from your use of the Software or violation of these terms.

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer resides.
